Fight depression today

Depression is a disease. It can hit you when you least expect it and turn your life up side down in a matter of days. If you feel like you don't find your place into this world and everything crumbles down around don't give up! Try these three simple things that will take you away from the dark alley you're on:

1.  Eat a salad. It has been medically proven that depression occurs when your body suffers from vitamin deficiency. Lack of B and D vitamins, specifically, can negatively affect our state of mind. So if you feel blue eat some fresh vegetables or fruits. They will not only reinvigorate you but they will produce chemicals in your brain that will positively affect your mood.

2.  Get out of the house. I know it sounds redundant but going out and mingling with the crowds it's really good for your nerves as it takes your mind off the problems you have. I recommend going into a park. Nature can calm you instantly and people there can distract you.

3. Write. When you're depressed you don’t feel like talking to anyone, you tend to sit alone and think about your situation. You can let your emotions out by writing down what you fell. Don’t worry if you cannot write coherent sentences. What’s important is releasing your feelings.

If the above mentioned steps don't work I strongly recommend that you go out there and talk to someone: a specialist, a family member or a friend. Do not shut yourself from the world but allow yourself to be enfolded in it.
