Trump Era Full Speed Ahead

It's been more than a week since Donald Trump's official imagination and we already witness some of his campaign promises: to put Americans first. But is he doing that or his measures build unnecessary walls?

The latest controversy has to do with the banning of some of the middle east refugees and immigrants. American boarders have been closed for a period of at least 90 days for people coming from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Yemen, Sudan, Libya and Somalia.

Is this a good call? What do you think?

The latest flaw in a movie not yet launched

Ladies and gentlemen,
The award for the latest flaw in a movie not yet launched goes to ... Dying of the Light starring Nicolas Cage.
According to IMDB, all you Cage lovers can see the movie starting December 5th 2014. But this post is not about Nicolas Cage or the movie's plot. This goes beyond that.

Watch the trailer! Don't let Nicolas Cage sweep you off your feet. Look closely. Now, what do you see? The entire trailer he has a scar on his right ear, right? (because he apparently was injured by some bad guys...bla bla bla). Now take a look at minute 1:17!
Pretty funny, huh!? I am curious when they are going to launch the movie. What are they going to do? My guess is cut the scene
Here's the trailer from IMDB. Enjoy!:

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan unfit remarks about women equality

According to CNN 8 women's rights groups signed a petition condemning Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan statement regarding the equality between women and men. He publically declared that "because their nature is different" women cannot compare to men.

Present at a summit held by a women's group based in Istanbul, President Erdogan said.
"Equality is turning the victim into an oppressor by force or vice versa. What women need is to be able to be equivalent, rather than equal, so it is justice. That is what we need. You cannot bring women and men into equal positions; that is against nature because their nature is different."
Moreover he voiced his belief that a woman is not capable of doing the same jobs as a man because "it is against her delicate nature." He continued his speech by saluting motherhood and using it as an example why pregnant women or nursing mothers could not succeed in the workplace as men can

Because of his outrageous statements regarding women and men inequality activists planed a march to mark the United Nations' International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. In addition people all over the internet started boycotting Turkey as a holiday destination for 2015.

What’s your opinion on the matter?

Business success means "You can do anything, but not everything"

In today’s fast moving world time is everything and prioritizing it is paramount. As Davis Allen says “You can do anything, but not everything”. In business this quote has new meanings. Why is that, you might ask. Well, when running a business is like running a marathon. You’re in for the long run, so keeping up the pace is extremely important. One way to do that is by focusing on mapping out your goals within a time frame. If you want to do that efficiently here are four tips that might put your business on the right track:

Delegate. When running a business having the right people working for you is compulsory. Remember again what Davis Allen said “You can do anything, but not everything”. So, don’t be a control freak and don’t waste your valuable time on petty tasks. Hire someone to do that for you.

Watch the big picture. Never ever lose the ball from your eyesight. Set your mission statement clearly and stick to it no matter what. Be flexible and resilient without leaving your business to chance. The success of your operation is in your hands. Focus on long term business partnerships and always keep your clients happy and engaged

Create your own opportunities. Don’t be scared of the big competitors when you decide to launch a new product or service on the market. If you have it and it is of good quality, put it out and promote it right away. Someone will always be interested in purchasing it.

Network with the right people. Don’t waste time talking to the “wrong” people. Focus on those that could bring value to your business. Compile a list of possible partners and start networking with them. Find common interests and engage them into your business mission. You will soon see some gratifying results

Content marketing and SEO strategy a win-win approach for business success

The key to internet diffusion is integrating content marketing with a sound SEO strategy. Quality, searchable content brings long term profit and business visibility for years to come. There are three ways in which one can achieve such success.

Creating unique and engaging content is the first step. In the old days success was measured in the numbers of published articles. Content marketing was seen as a luxury. Nowadays things have changed. Original content is being generated, shared and put to use extensively in the cyberspace. The scale used to measure content’s impact online is SEO. Search engine optimization not only generates rapid revenue, but it also facilitates the identification of the proper content that fits across all digital channels. Pinpointing consumers’ topics interest and writing genuine content is the best way to accomplish that.

Business promotion must be seen as long term commitment. In this context, evergreen content is the second most important aspect when it comes to SEO and content marketing strategy. High quality, searchable content raises publics’ interest long after its first publishing generating traffic, leads and social shares. This translates in high business revenue for an extended period of time.

Last but not least a good SEO and content marketing strategy requires intensive promotion. Writing quality, engaging content it’s not enough to ensure business success. Attracting people to read it is equally important. This can be achieved by using different tools such as newsletters campaigns, social promotion or PPC campaigns, just to name a few.

All in all, a sound content marketing strategy should hold an optimized content at its core. In the long run this will keep visitors coming all the while generating greater business outcome.
